Problem:

When installing a SmartCAMcnc product, you see the message "Error 1324: The <folder path> folder name contains an invalid character."

Solution:

This is a problem with the Microsoft Windows operating system or the configuration of the computer. It is not a result of problems with SmartCAMcnc software.

To fix this, contact Microsoft or your computer manufacturer. You can also search https://www.microsoft.com/ for: "Error 1324"
