SmartCAM v2022 Introduction


Welcome to our SmartCAM® v2022 release highlight pages.

Looking back, 2021 continued to be a challenge but everyone has seemed up to the task. Our development has remained predominantly a remote-working environment, making use of much of the new tech to help bring SmartCAM v2022 to you. In the new SmartCAM v2022 release we continue to improve and enhance the CNC programming system of choice for our valued customers.

Our goal remains unchanged - to continuously deliver technology changes that add even more capability and productivity to SmartCAM, assisted with updates to the user interface and everyday usability improvements. We always strive to maintain "The SmartCAM Difference" going forward.

We are pleased to summarize the enhancements that have been created for the Version 2022 release.

Highlights include:

  • Markup Notes - Used to create targeted annotations about the current Process Model.
  • Work Plane Manager - A central manager which consolidates and simplifies the many workplane related functions into a single table based workplane dialog.
  • Job Variables - A table of Job Variables and their values that can be created, saved with the job and initialized every time a job is loaded.
  • Macro Language - Numerous macro language additions and enhancements have been added.
