Two additional notable improvements are also found in SmartCAM v2014.

Increased Number of Subroutines

The limit of a maximum 100 subroutine definitions within a SmartCAM model file has been removed from SmartCAM v2014 Milling applications, Advanced Fabrication and Advanced Wire EDM.

This change has been a popular request amongst SmartCAM users, the only limitation now imposed is that of memory capacity and practical applications usage.

Updated Data Translation

SmartCAM data translation has been updated to support more recent versions of CAD model files:

• SmartCAM Inventor® Connection™ (optional native data translator): Reads up to Autodesk® Inventor 2014
• SmartCAM SOLIDWORKS® Connection™ (optional native data translator): Reads up to SOLIDWORKS 2013
• DXF: Up to Autodesk® DXF 2013
• DWG: Up to Autodesk® DWG™ 2013
